Provide Hope for our Families in Haiti

Today, the Haitian government extended the State of Emergency until May 1st as security continues to deteriorate. From the most recent Human Rights Watch update, "between January and mid-March 2024, criminal groups killed nearly 1,500 people not involved in the violence and injured 800 others, according to the United Nations. Approximately 50,000 people have been internally displaced. Nearly half of Haitians are acutely food insecure, and 1.4 million Haitians are at risk of famine according to the UN World Food Programme (WFP)."

Your support is enabling us to accompany our families with essential needs, keeping food on the table, most of our kids in school, and as much as we can control, safety at home and in the community. It has also enabled us to continue to invest in work and a dignified income for our families, which cannot be more critical.

Given the situation today, we are strongly pressing for the installation of the Presidential Transition Council, to move the UN Security Mission forward, and to move an election forward, which has been previously committed for 2025.

Next month, we begin our largest fundraising campaign of the year, our Move Across May, where we challenge you to move with us, in whatever way you choose, and rally your community to raise $200 to help us accompany our families out of poverty for good. We need your help to make it a success. Become a Team Captain and form a team of your family, friends, co-worker and challenge each other, or join us as an individual participant. Your participation will help continue to provide much needed hope for our families to get through this time.
