About Us

WORK accompanies families in Haiti and beyond out of poverty through good, dignified jobs. Our goal is simple, to ensure two heads of household are in living income jobs so that each family can pull themselves out of poverty forever.

We partner with families and communities to understand their needs, co-design programs and services to address improvements, implement their recommendations, and invest in local leaders and community infrastructure. We commit to the communities we serve until they no longer need us, whether that takes 10 days or 10 years.

Part of our workforce strategy centers around collection of recyclables where we work to improve the lives and livelihoods of collectors and workers. We facilitate and coordinate the setting of and advancement of responsible sourcing standards across people-powered value chains, working with workers, recycling partners, and brand partners to ensure human rights and communities of collection as well as the environment are treated with dignity and respect.
