WORK has been chosen to be a Sustainable Livelihoods Featured Partner!

The families we serve live in communities with poor waste infrastructure. To make an income, they collect, sort, and sell recyclable materials, removing what's deemed as trash from landfills and the environment and enabling brands to transform them into new products.

We work to improve the working conditions and income of the families that we serve. Our goal is to keep as much 'trash' out of the environment as possible through direct programming and services and by transforming supply chain systems to be inclusive of all workers.

A family group stands outside a building, consisting of men, women, and children. The adults are dressed casually, one in a white shirt and another in a patterned dress. The children wear colorful clothes, and one child is held by an adult. They stand in front of a textured concrete wall and a red door.

Your help can ensure less trash is in our oceans and landfills by supporting their work, while also providing them with the opportunity to pull themselves out of poverty for good.
